We make every effort to check and test material at all stages of production. It is always wise for you to run an anti-virus program on all material downloaded from the Internet. We make every effort to process publication orders within 24 hours of receipt (sending hard copies via DHL and PDF orders via email). Orders received outside office hours (9am – 5.30pm GMT, Monday – Friday) and during UK public holidays will be processed on the next working day.
When purchasing via the website, EU companies are asked to provide an EU VAT number. Following such online purchases, DW will verify if the VAT number provided is valid, otherwise we reserve the right to charge VAT at the standard rate, where applicable.
Purchases in PDF format and our secure PDF system
When purchasing in PDF format, these will be sent to the purchaser in an encrypted form along with a username and password. With each purchase, the PDF can be viewed/saved/printed on one machine. A ‘Multi-User’ upgrade will permit the PDF report to be viewed/saved/printed on up-to five different machines.
PDF licenses or printed copies must not be shared outside the purchaser’s organisation, or otherwise circulated in any form. A license can be upgraded at any stage after the original sale and further additional licenses can be discussed by emailing email@example.com.
The first time the PDF is opened an internet connection is required and the supplied password and username are needed. After this time, the PDF can be used as normal. Should this not be possible, a telephone unlock can be completed via the exchange of access codes.
Due to copyright restriction, PDFs of reports do not have the option to copy content or make screenshots. Please contact us if there are any charts or information you intend to reproduce and we will consider all requests.
If you have made a ‘paid for’ PDF order, this will be set up on our secure PDF system, before being sent via email to the address you have provided, during UK office hours the same day of purchase, Monday-Friday.
Opening PDFs – Troubleshooting
If you are trying to open a PDF behind a proxy server or firewall and are experiencing problems, please tick the box “check here if you are having difficulty”. You will be given an access code e.g. 4CDADC which you should email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then reply with an ‘unlock code’ which you should enter to give you access to the PDF. You will only be required to use the codes the first time of opening on your machine.
Please note Terms and Conditions and prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.
*VAT applies to PDF publication purchases (for applicable countries) but not for hard copies within the same transaction.
